Prefeitura de Cuiab | Primeira-dama, prefeito e ministro assinam parceria com quatro dos 20 restaurantes previstos para o Prato Cheio

A primeira-dama Márcia Pinheiro, acompanhada pelo prefeito Emanuel Pinheiro e o ministro Wellington Dias, assinou os primeiros convênios, nesta sexta-feira (22), no auditório da Câmara de Dirigente Lojista (CDL), do Programa Prato Cheio.
Serão quatro restaurantes, nesta primeira etapa, dos 20 planejados pela Prefeitura de Cuiabá, via Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, Direitos Humanos e da Pessoa com Deficiência.
Os estabelecimentos compreendem os bairros Pedregal, Residencial Coxipó, Pedra 90 e Santa Izabel e irão ofertar, em média, 1,3 mil refeições diárias ao valor simbólico de R$ 2,00.
“A política de segurança alimentar da prefeitura vai atender aquelas pessoas mais carentes, que estão nos bairros, muitas vezes, longe do alcance do poder público. Garantir o acesso a alimentação desse grupo de extrema vulnerabilidade social é o nosso objetivo” destacou, em entrevista, Márcia Pinheiro.
O alcance da alimentação social é cobrir as 128 mil famílias em vulnerabilidade social inseridas no Cadastro Único (CAD), sendo que mais de 55 mil classificadas no mais alto grau de pobreza, com renda de até R$ 218 per capita.
Economia
O novo programa de Segurança Alimentar também possui o viés econômico para o comércio local, dado o impulsionamento aos novos e aos já existentes empreendimentos.
“Esse projeto vai alavancar as minhas vendas, tenho uma previsão de aumento de em torno de mais de 50%. Nós vendemos entre 120 e 150 refeições e a projeção é muito boa porque atendemos o bairros Jardim Leblon, Lixeira e uma parte do Bosque da Saúde”, contou Elvia Marta, do restaurante Buchada de Bode.
Pacto Nacional de Combate à Fome
A participação do ministro do Desenvolvimento Social, Assistência Social, Família e Combate à Fome, Wellington Dias, também marcou a assinatura do Pacto Nacional de Combate à Fome, no qual firma o compromisso de Cuiabá com o protocolo de intenções da união.
“O compromisso do presidente Lula é tirar o Brasil do mapa da fome. Recebemos o Brasil com mais de 33 milhões de pessoas na fome e 94 milhões na pobreza”, elencou Dias.
Ainda segundo o ministro, a presidência da República vai liberar R$ 32,5 milhões, para subsidiar o Prato Cheio, pelo Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos (PAA), voltado a compra de alimentos produzidos pela agricultura familiar.
“Vamos liberar esse dinheiro pelo fomento rural para gente poder trabalhar com as entidades. Compra o arroz, o feijão, a farinha, o ovo, a verdura, o frango para chegar no restaurante e diminuir a despesa”, anunciou o ministro a parceria com o Prato Cheio.
