Agência Minas Gerais | Desenvolvimento e compartilhamento de sistemas estratégicos garantem avanço na gestão de recursos hídricos em Minas

O Instituto Mineiro de Gestão das Águas (Igam) deu início à transferência de tecnologia que proporcionará um rápido avanço no desenvolvimento de sistemas estratégicos para a gestão das águas em Minas.

Por meio de acordo de cooperação firmado com o Instituto Água e Terra (IAT), do Paraná, serão compartilhados conhecimentos e disponibilizada a plataforma digital desenvolvida pelo instituto, denominada Sistema de Gestão de Bacias Hidrográficas.  

A nova plataforma proporcionará um rápido avanço no desenvolvimento de sistemas estratégicos para a gestão das águas em Minas. “É uma cooperação mútua. Da mesma forma que estamos recebendo parte de um sistema que vai nos ajudar na gestão dos comitês de bacia, cobrança e outros, todo o desenvolvimento que a nossa equipe construir, nós compartilharemos também com o IAT”, disse o diretor-geral do Igam, Marcelo da Fonseca.

Para desenvolvimento e implementação da plataforma, o Igam conta ainda com o apoio da Fundação Ezute, organização sem fins lucrativos e fornecedora de soluções em tecnologia e gestão. “Este novo projeto demonstra como o conhecimento e a tecnologia podem contribuir para uma governança inovadora e transparente”, destaca o gerente de negócios da fundação, João Aleandro Massaroli. 

“Para nós, que buscamos permanentemente apoiar as gestões públicas em sua eficiência e na implantação de serviços digitais aos cidadãos, é uma grande satisfação participar”, frisa João Aleandro.

Sinergia

A plataforma, implantada no IAT do Paraná, se destaca por sua eficácia na gestão integrada das bacias hidrográficas, com foco na gestão de comitês e conselho estadual, e na operacionalização da cobrança pelo uso da água. 

Segundo diretor-geral do Igam, “a implementação desta plataforma possibilitará uma gestão integrada de dados e informações mais qualificadas e permitirá, ainda, o aprimoramento na participação social dos Comitês de Bacia e do Conselho Estadual de Recursos Hídricos, com maior geração de dados para trabalharmos na qualificação da sociedade para atuação na gestão participativa”.

A colaboração entre Igam, IAT e Fundação Ezute reforça a importância da sinergia entre diferentes entidades governamentais e iniciativa privada para a preservação dos recursos naturais. O projeto tem um prazo de implantação de 24 meses e, ao final, é esperado que o Igam não só tenha uma gestão mais eficiente, mas também seja um modelo de gestão hídrica para outros estados.

Os recursos para financiamento do projeto provêm de um Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta (TAC), refletindo um compromisso contínuo com práticas responsáveis e de gestão sustentável dos recursos naturais. A plataforma está em fase de ajustes internos e será disponibilizada em breve para uso finalístico.

Com a implantação da plataforma, o Igam espera um aumento na eficiência da gestão dos Comitês de Bacia e também uma redução na burocracia e nos custos operacionais, promovendo a utilização mais eficiente dos recursos públicos, além da modernização dos procedimentos, o que melhora a transparência e a acessibilidade das informações.
