No último domingo (14), o time de São José dos Campos estreou no 1º Campeonato Valeparaibano de Vôlei Adaptado (CVVA) com duas vitórias importantes na etapa de abertura da temporada. Os jogos da primeira rodada da competição aconteceram em Guaratinguetá, no Complexo Esportivo Parque do Sol.
Na categoria C (mais de 70 anos), a equipe feminina venceu Guaratinguetá por 2 sets a 1 (15×5 / 13×15 / 15×9). A melhor jogadora da partida foi Célia Maria Dias Gomes, de São José dos Campos.
No Masculino B (60 a 69 anos), São José também venceu Itaquaquecetuba por 2 a 1, com as parciais 15/12, 16/17 e 17/15. Destaque para o atleta Fabio Antonio de Padua, do time joseense, eleito o melhor do duelo.
Já nas categorias Masculino C e Feminino B, São José foi superado pelo time de Guaratinguetá por 2 sets a 0 nos dois confrontos.
1º CVVA
Idealizado pelo Conselho Regional dos Secretários de Esportes (CORESE) e Prefeituras Municipais, o 1º Campeonato Valeparaibano de Vôlei Adaptado tem 10 munícipios inscritos. A segunda rodada será disputada na cidade de Santa Isabel, no dia 27 de abril, e a terceira em Cruzeiro, no dia 4 de maio.
O objetivo do campeonato é promover o envelhecimento ativo e oportunizar a competição saudável e acessível aos praticantes do voleibol adaptado.
A equipe compete com apoio da Prefeitura, por meio da Secretaria de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida.
